Agile had many parents. Most of them were from the XP movement. This false myth of Scrum as the parent of agile implies that you can only be agile by doing Scrum. But this is not ture. You can be compeltely agile without doing Scrum at all and in fact you can often be more agile by not doing Scrum.

It is not a false myth, did you read the article? It clearly states one of the parents and the article I written before that XP was there too.
