I have problems with SAFe too but I wasnt aware that you had hands on practical experience with it.

Also if you were going to invest in SAFE or Scrum surely you are doing so to get better products to market faster so that you can achieve your organisation objectives. so shouldn't the measure of success be revenue, growth, cost, cycle time, customer satisfaction, usage etc not whether people can work well in small teams.
